What is USNA doing to prepare grads for challenges ahead?

At the United States Naval Academy, the next generation of military leaders is preparing for a world increasingly shaped by great power competition. The Academy’s Stockdale Center recently introduced a 6-part film series focusing on Great Power Competition. Each episode is between 15-30 minutes in length and highlights important work being done across the Yard to answer the question “What is the Naval Academy doing to best prepare our graduates for the challenges ahead?”

- Episode #2: China’s Strategy Shift to Unrestricted Warfare (employing sub-lethal, constant, harmful methods to weaken the U.S. while avoiding direct military confrontation) (31 min)
- Episode #3: Prepare – But Prepare for What? (midshipmen are trained to ask better questions, challenge doctrine and lead with curiosity) (33 min)
- Episode #4: The How of Preparation (how USNA is preparing midshipment, not just through technology, but through innovation, mental agility and purpose-driving training) (29 min)
- Episode #5: Leadership, Sacrifice and the Moral Weight of Command (what it means to serve with honor when the stakes are highest) (39 min)
