I am attending the 60th reunion for reasons that go beyond living in Annapolis and being embarrassed if I did not.
- Primarily to see my plebe year company mates with whom I established a particular bond over common memorable experiences that year. Separation into different companies after plebe year made the heart grow fonder, I guess, for that original grouping.
- Again this year we will host a luncheon for that plebe year original 14th company, which I think all, spouses included, have found an attractive reunion option.
- To reinforce that desire to be with them is the above picture from our 50th pre-reunion gathering. A mere 10 years ago – some of the old 14th – to include spouses – are no longer with us. A driver for another hurrah!
